Went out on the river to a terrible call by the other guy, who made a flush with runner runner!!!

Once again the Punters Lounge cleaned up with the last 4 players all being members, and we had another girlie winner in RONAY.....excellent play girl, well done!!

Well i just came back from the Maxim King of Poker 2006 Tournament

It took 2 MTT's per day, for 16 weeks to qualify for this, and the grand final for 40 winners was on wednesday at the Cafe de Paris in Londons Piccadilly

2500 STARTING STACKS
20 MIN BLINDS

1st hand i received QQ on the Big Blind.....often my nemesis, which it also proved tonight, i slow played it as everyone but the small blind called,

Flop came 9 5 3

bets of 500 each

Turn came J

bets of 500 each

River came 2

bets of 500 each.......

We both turn our cards and he shows his 2 pair 9's and 2's

GUTTING, 1ST HAND AND IM DOWN TO 950!

Well i recovered well and eventually finished 8th after 3 hours of play and numerous free vodkas which didnt help my play, but settled my nerves haha

I knocked out 4 people on the way to 8th and received $10 for each so $40 wasnt too bad, as it was winner takes all!
